WHAT MAKES A CAPSTONE PROJECT

HOW TO SPOT A CAPSTONE PROJECT

A capstone project is for those who are looking to create new significance beyond their current success.

Capstones are projects or ventures outside of one’s main achievements, beyond profit and designed from personal passions. They are activities that a HNWI decides to take on, usually in their spare time, in order to gain some benefit to themselves. The project is outside their day to day successful business and is driven by motives other than pure profit. Other ways people have described them can be:

In architecture, the definition of a capstone is a concluding or crowning achievement, a finishing touch or a large flat stone placed on top of a wall or building. Landing a major account the day before you retire is an example of a capstone in your career.

We also took the inspiration from business schools: a capstone experienceculminating project, or senior exhibition, is a multifaceted assignment that serves as a culminating academic and intellectual experience for students, typically during their final year of high school or middle school, or at the end of an academic program.

Capstone projects may take a wide variety of forms, but most are long-term investigative projects that culminate in a final product, presentation, or performance.

Capstones for HNWIs: You can usually tell it’s the project an HNWI wants to nurture and is passionate, its what they want to talk about it and promote it to you when you sit next to them at lunch rather than their day to day successes.

Is it time for your capstone project?
